The members of Historic Ridgewood have a
number of functions every year to promote neighborhood unity. These include our
annual meeting in March of each year, a summer social, a Halloween party for
neighborhood children, an annual food drive and from time to time we have had
tours of houses and gardens to show restoration efforts of our patient and
hardworking residents. This year one of the Ridgewood homes was used by Canton
Preservation Society as a fundraiser.
We have a wealth of information to share
about restoration and preservation. Through a lot of hard work, we have
achieved greater than 90% participation in our neighborhood association among
the 300 family homes in our neighborhood. Our dues help pay for security,
neighborhood functions, and a quarterly newsletter.
